Journal History

Didaktika Religia: Journal of Islamic Education is published by the Postgraduate Program of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Kediri, Indonesia, with its inaugural issue released in 2013. The inaugural issue was released in 2013. Since its inception, the journal has been a member of Crossref, thereby ensuring that each published article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI). The journal initially obtained its print ISSN (2337-7305) in 2013, followed by the acquisition of an electronic ISSN (2549-631X) in 2017.

In recognition of its commitment to academic excellence, the journal was granted accreditation as "SINTA 3" by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia in 2017. Following a series of incremental enhancements, the journal sought reaccreditation and, in 2020, was elevated to the "SINTA 2” level of accreditation. This accreditation was formalized through Decree No. 200/M/KPT/2020 issued by the Minister of Research and Technology/Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency which was effective from June 2020 through December 2024.

Didaktika Religia: Journal of Islamic Education is included in several reputable databases, including  Google Scholar, Crossref, Science and Technology Index/SINTA, Garba Rujukan Digital/GARUDA, Indonesia Onesearch, and Dimensions.
