This research uses qualitative research methods, data obtained through interviews with local people and document analysis related to the focus of research, namely the kupatan tradition and Islamic traditionalism. The results showed that the kupatan tradition in Juwet Village reflects the concept of Islamic Traditionalism in several aspects. First, the tradition of acknowledging one year's mistakes in kupatan is a concrete manifestation of moral and ethical values in Islam. Second, the value of togetherness is reflected in the tradition of exchanging kupat. This practice creates social ties and solidarity among Juwet villagers, in accordance with the principle of togetherness advocated by Islam. Third, the symbol of forgiveness through the use of kupat and lepet at the door of the house creates an atmosphere of peace and tolerance. Kupat at the door of the house is interpreted as a sign of readiness to apologize and receive guests sincerely. This reflects the values of forgiveness and tolerance in Islam that are applied in real life. The importance of tradition in maintaining local cultural values in Juwet Village is in accordance with the concept of Islamic Traditionalism. The implications of the findings of this study can broaden insights into the complexity of the relationship between religious values and local culture and contribute to the preservation of spiritual and cultural heritage in traditional Islamic societies.
Achmad Alfiyan Nor Khoiri 'Abdillah, Mujiasih Mujiasih Copyright (c) 2023 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnalpascasarjana.iainkediri.ac.id/index.php/ijoresco/article/view/3415 Mon, 04 Sep 2023 00:00:00 +0000 The Impact of The Doctrine of The Closed Door of Ijtihad on The Thought of Fazlurrahman: A Case Study of Islamic Law Teaching Methods in The Salafiyah Sabilul Muttaqin Boarding School in Mojokerto City https://jurnalpascasarjana.iainkediri.ac.id/index.php/ijoresco/article/view/3416
This research is motivated by observation data which shows that the ideal education is because it is able to touch all aspects and potential of students, but unfortunately education currently tends to be oriented towards the cognitive and matearilistic dimensions. The average orientation of education today is only used as a graduate or even to get a job. Therefore, this research seeks to discuss the method of teaching Islamic law at the Salafiyah Sabilul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School. This can be seen from the teaching pattern of the YellowIslamic classic Book, especially the Book of Fiqh (Islamic Law) which is essentially a scientific thought or explanation of Islamic scientists or scholars on cases of sharia (Al-Quran and Al-Hadith). With the doctrine of the closure of ijtihad, the teaching model applied in traditional Islamic boarding schools is only a transfer of meaning (getting meaning from Arabic books) and explaining the content without any dialog or discussion. This article also examines how the doctrine of the closed door of ijtihad affects the teaching pattern of Islamic law at the Salafiyah Sabilul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School. With the positive progress of technology and information as well as the many modern teaching models, there is a promising hope for Salafiyah Islamic Boarding Schools to improve their teaching patterns and develop into more modern without having to break down and leave their characteristics.
Marcella Nadhia Anggraeni Copyright (c) 2023 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnalpascasarjana.iainkediri.ac.id/index.php/ijoresco/article/view/3416 Fri, 08 Sep 2023 00:00:00 +0000 The Dynamics of Religious Moderation in The Prevention of Religious Conflict in Multicultural Communities: A Case Study of Pakelan Village, Pancasila Village, Kediri City https://jurnalpascasarjana.iainkediri.ac.id/index.php/ijoresco/article/view/3417
Pancasila Village is an area in Pakelan Village, Kediri City. impressively, this village has a lot of different cultures, beliefs, tribes and ethnicities there. Based on qualitative research with the type of case study research. Data acquisition methods with focused open interviews. While data analysis: data reduction, data display, and data conclusions. The results of the study explain the application of the hybrid contract model in chilli buying and selling transactions carried out between farmers and collectors in Tegalan Village, Kandat District, Kediri Regency using a qard contract, wakalah contract, and sale and purchase contract. The implementation of the hybrid contract model in chili buying and selling transactions between farmers and collectors is not in accordance with the provisions of Islamic economics, namely the qard contract transaction mechanism which is not in accordance with sharia provisions because the pillars and conditions of qard have not been massively realised. The sale and purchase agreement used by farmers and collectors is Al-Bai' al-mu'ajjal. But in this case, the collectors when taking chillies to farmers do not provide a definite statement regarding tsaman (price). So that it indicates that the practice of buying and selling transactions carried out is not in accordance with sharia provisions. Meanwhile, the implementation of this wakalah contract is in accordance with sharia provisions.
Widya Ratna Sari, Zuraidah Copyright (c) 2023 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnalpascasarjana.iainkediri.ac.id/index.php/ijoresco/article/view/3421 Mon, 25 Sep 2023 00:00:00 +0000
